The default cookie settings for the Firefox browser block cookies that the ASTM Standards and Engineering Digital Library (ASTM Compass) database requires to run. You can update your Firefox browser settings as directed below or you can use a different browser other than Firefox to access ASTM, for example Chrome or Edge.

To update your browser settings in Firefox:

Open Firefox, look for the three lines menu on the top right, and select settings.

• Select Privacy & Security from the menu on the left.
• Select Custom. For Cookies, set the blocking to “Cross site tracking cookies” only (your browser is likely set to block “Cross site tracking cookies, and isolate other cross-site cookies”, which blocks access to ASTM).

Now you can load the ASTM Standards and Engineering Digital Library.
