No, the VPN is not needed to access library resources. Many of the Libraries articles, videos, and e-books are available online. Search Compass from the main library page or view our complete list of databases. For information on how to access resources from home, please see our Off-Campus Research Guide.

The VPN is only required for specific resources such as remote access to workstations, shared network drives, and internal wikis. For more information on using the VPN, please see IT@DU's page on Resources for Working and Teaching from Off Campus.
