Here are some links to projects that match journal donations with libraries that need them. Some organizations do require the donor to pay for some or all of the shipping charges, so it’s a good idea to contact an individual organization about their policies before sending materials.

  1. I was just notified by someone at jdp@newschool.edu that the Journal Donation Project is no longer in operation, so they are not accepting donations.

  4. Thank you for the heads up about the broken link, Meghan! It looks like that project is ceased (their website domain is back up for sale). There are similar programs that accept book donations for African schools and libraries, but I have not found another that will accept book donations.
